FAQ
Pre-launch. Contracts tested; public mainnet and fling.fun are not live yet. No external firm audit — the internal review is published in full at /security.
Short answers. Mechanism over hype. Numbers only when true. Creator fee share is 60% — not 70%.
Product
- What is Fling?
- A non-custodial memecoin launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Tokens launch on a bonding curve and graduate into a permanently locked Uniswap v4 pool. The protocol keeps the locked liquidity — the ongoing asset is the fee stream, not withdrawable LP — and earns a fee on every swap for the life of the token. Everything the site does is also an API, SDK, or MCP call.
- How does a launch work?
- Create → trade on the bonding curve → at completion, liquidity seeds a Uniswap v4 pool at the exact final curve price and locks. Fixed 1B supply: 793.1M on the curve, 206.9M to the pool. Raise target ~4 ETH in WETH (USDG when enabled).
- Is liquidity locked?
- Yes, after graduation. The locker has no remove-liquidity path. LP remint is Phase 2 only, not at launch.
- Do you have a platform token?
- No platform token at launch.
- Which chain?
- Robinhood Chain (EVM) on day one. The design is portable to chains with canonical Uniswap v4. Do not treat other chains as live until they are deployed.
Fees & referrers
- What are the fees?
- Launch fee: 0.0005 ETH. Swap fee: 1% on curve and on the graduated pool. 1% split: Creator 60% / Protocol 30% / Trade referrer 7% / Create referrer 3%.
- Is the creator share 70%?
- No. Creator share is 60%. Referrers receive 10% of the 1% fee (7% + 3%). Some other launchpads advertise ~70% to creators; Fling does not match that figure.
- How do referrers work?
- Attach a create referrer when the token is created (3%). Attach a trade referrer on a swap (7%). Attribution is handled in-app and via API/SDK. Shares apply for the life of that token’s fee stream.
Trading & anti-snipe
- What is anti-snipe?
- An on-chain, buys-only window that auto-expires: sniper tax starts at 98% and falls to 0 over ~6 seconds; a ~2% wallet cap applies for ~2 seconds. It never restricts sells or transfers. There is no sniper tax after graduation.
- Can I sell during anti-snipe?
- Yes. Sells and transfers are not restricted by anti-snipe.
Security
- Is Fling audited?
- Not by an external firm, and we do not claim one. The internal review is complete and published in full at /security: 16 contract findings and 6 deployment findings, all fixed, each pinned by a test. The suite covers 15 guarantees across 95 Foundry tests. Read it as what we checked, not as a guarantee.
- Is Fling non-custodial?
- Yes. Non-custodial and permissionless create/trade/graduation per the deployed contracts. We describe mechanisms; we do not call the product risk-free or unruggable as a promise.
- What happens to LP after graduation?
- It stays locked forever. The ongoing asset is the fee stream, not a withdrawable LP position.
API / SDK / MCP
- Can I use Fling without the website UI?
- Yes. REST API, TypeScript and Python SDKs, MCP, webhooks, indexer reads, and example bots. The site is one client.
- Do you support agents / MCP?
- Yes. MCP exposes launchpad flows for agents. Confirm tool schemas against the current server before production prompts.
Geo availability
- Where is Fling available?
- The front end and API geo-block the United Kingdom and OFAC-sanctioned jurisdictions. The United States is not blocked at launch; counsel review is a mainnet gate. Availability can change. We do not claim available worldwide or US-compliant.
- Why was I blocked?
- Your jurisdiction is on the blocked list for the front end/API (UK or OFAC-sanctioned). If you believe that is an error, contact support through official channels once they are published — do not bypass geo controls.
Status
- Is fling.fun / mainnet live?
- Not yet. Pre-launch. Contracts are tested (anvil / pre-launch in repo). Public mainnet and the public site are mainnet-gated alongside external audit and bounty work.
